In 2011, twenty years after his passing
in 1991, Bill's friends in San Francisco began a new annual tradition
of gathering at Don Ramon's restaurant to commemorate Bill's
Yahrzeit. Yahrtzeit is a Yiddish word that means "anniversary,"
and is used to honor the memory of the departed. The Yahrzeit
